ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായ തെലങ്കാന, 2014 ജൂൺ 2-ന് ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശിൽ നിന്ന് വേർപെട്ട് രൂപീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ദക്ഷിണ-മധ്യ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ വിസ്തീർണ്ണം ഏകദേശം 1,12,077 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ ആണ്. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പന്ത്രണ്ടാമത്തെ വലിയ സംസ്ഥാനമാണിത്. സംസ്ഥാന തലസ്ഥാനമായ ഹൈദരാബാദ് വിവരസാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ, ഫാർമസ്യൂട്ടിക്കൽ വ്യവസായം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, വാണിജ്യം എന്നിവയുടെ പ്രധാന കേന്ദ്രമായി ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള ആളുകളെ ആകർഷിച്ചുവരുന്നു.
തെലങ്കാനയുടെ ജനസംഖ്യ ഏകദേശം 3.8 മുതൽ 4 കോടി വരെ (38–40 ദശലക്ഷം) ആണ്. വിവിധ ഭാഷകളും സംസ്കാരങ്ങളും പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങളും ഉള്ള ജനങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ താമസിക്കുന്നു. തെലുങ്ക് പ്രധാന ഭാഷയായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഉർദു സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭാഷകളിലൊന്നായി വ്യാപകമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഹൈദരാബാദ് നഗരത്തിൽ.
മതപരമായ ഘടന

സാമ്പത്തിക സ്ഥിതി
ഇന്ത്യയിൽ അതിവേഗം വളരുന്ന സമ്പദ്വ്യവസ്ഥകളിലൊന്നാണ് തെലങ്കാനയുടേത്. ഹൈദരാബാദ് ആഗോള ഐ.ടി. കേന്ദ്രമായി വളർന്നിട്ടുള്ളതിനാൽ നിരവധി ബഹുരാഷ്ട്ര കമ്പനികളും സ്റ്റാർട്ടപ്പ് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും ഇവിടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. കൂടാതെ ഫാർമസ്യൂട്ടിക്കൽ നിർമ്മാണം, ബയോടെക്നോളജി, വിവരസാങ്കേതിക സേവനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയിലും സംസ്ഥാനം മുൻനിരയിലാണ്.
കൃഷിയും സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന ഉപജീവന മാർഗമാണ്. നെല്ല്, പരുത്തി, ചോളം, പയർവർഗങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രധാന വിളകൾ. ജലസേചന പദ്ധതികൾ, വ്യവസായ വികസനം, അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസനം എന്നിവ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക വളർച്ചയെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഗ്രാമീണ ദാരിദ്ര്യം, തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മ, കർഷകക്ഷേമം, സമതുലിത വികസനം തുടങ്ങിയ മേഖലകളിൽ ഇനിയും കൂടുതൽ പുരോഗതി ആവശ്യമാണ്.

Telangana
Telangana is one of India’s youngest states, officially formed on 2 June 2014 after being separated from Andhra Pradesh. Located in south-central India, it covers an area of approximately 112,077 square kilometers, making it the twelfth-largest state in the country. The capital city, Hyderabad, is a major center for information technology, pharmaceuticals, education, and commerce, attracting people from across India and around the world.
